'They are not afraid to make offers and there is currently exceptionally strong demand for great family homes. There’s a definite lack of properties around the £2,000,000 mark, meaning houses for sale at that level are particularly competitive. It is not uncommon for us to have multiple offers on the very best homes and we have achieved over asking price for a number of our clients. The demand is mostly coming from those moving within the local area but there are some buyers looking to relocate from the likes of Putney and Wandsworth in order to get more space and to be near to fantastic schools.’
