'Our sales teams have been incredibly busy since the start of the year handling increased enquiries from buyers as well as more properties coming on to the market for sale,' says Paul Herring, Sales Director at Snellers, Teddington. ‘Sellers are showing more confidence in the market this year. As an example, I've recently been instructed on three new houses over £1,500,000 in less than five days. We are continuing to see incredibly high demand from buyers for larger family houses, so when these properties become available we often receive multiple bids. We are advising buyers to put their best foot forward with their offers as this is a very competitive market.’

'The number of prospective tenants registering their interest is already high, but is increasing on a daily basis as more people are focused on moving this year. In recent months we've seen the length of tenancies increase as tenants are choosing to stay in properties for longer compared to five years ago. This is affirming our Landlords’ confidence in the market and encouraging new Landlords to rent their properties out.’
