Exceptionally busy start to the year

All of our offices have been exceptionally busy so far this year, with stock levels increasing and new buyers registering with us every day. “We agreed six sales last week alone,” says Paul Herring, Sales Director at Snellers Teddington. “Across Snellers, we’ve arranged hundreds of valuations already this year and it’s only the third week of January!”

The lettings market is equally thriving, says Jon Mulshaw, Snellers Teddington Lettings Director. “As a group, our lettings offices have booked more viewing appointments than ever before for this time of year. Landlords are happy that tenants are securing longer term tenancies and we expect a busy year for our Corporate Lettings and International Relocation Department.” Corporate tenants are out in force as international companies tend to relocate their staff in the new year. Corporate tenants are good news for landlords as they tend to stay put for two to five years, minimising void periods. If you are interested in letting your property, Snellers has a fantastic pool of tenants currently searching for property. Contact your local office for more information.

Due in part to this increase in quality tenants, Snellers offices are receiving lots of enquiries from potential new landlords seeking advice on how to achieve the best returns. “This just goes to show that property is still the preferred choice for investment in this part of London,” says Jon.

We’re a respected local Estate Agent who’s been selling and letting houses for over 80 years, during which time we’ve come to really understand the aspirations and requirements of our local residents. If you’re thinking of selling or letting, or would just like an update on your local market, please contact your local Snellers office. Our experts will be happy to help.
