Our five local offices are focused on delivering a great service for our clients and customers which is why we spend on average 180-200 hours to find you the best buyer or tenant. Our team of experts generate 17 out of every 20 viewings with the remaining three coming from the internet.

‘The market is incredibly busy at the moment, we’re achieving multiple offers on many houses as there’s a shortage of supply,’ says Paul Herring at Snellers. ‘Over recent years I’ve witnessed an increase in families from central London moving further out so their children are able to attend excellent local schools as Teddington is known as a family friendly area. If you’re thinking of selling your property it’s important to research your agent, I recommend reading recent Google reviews to see what previous clients have said. The market is competitive at the moment with plenty of buyers out there looking for their next home. As a result of this, we are advising buyers to act quickly or risk missing out completely, some are even offering over the asking price to secure their dream home. Over the years, we have noticed roads close to the high street are popular with buyers as many people are looking for a quiet yet convenient location. The river roads have also proven to be well liked by many moving to the area. With the end of the stamp duty holiday approaching we expect the demand to continue through to another busy summer market.’

‘The number of people looking to move has skyrocketed over the past few months which has led to us achieving fantastic prices for our landlords,’ says Lucy Collier at Snellers. ‘Any property, from a studio to a five bedroom house is welcomed with excitement by the whole team. Over the past few years, the interest to live here has continued to rise, this is due to the local schools being rated Outstanding by Ofsted, the boutique restaurants and the close proximity to both Bushy Park and the River Thames. As of March 2021, Teddington overtook Richmond as the best place to live in London, according to the Evening Standard, which is why demand is at an all time high. We have excellent knowledge of what is on the market including what has recently been let. We build a strong rapport with all of our landlords and are able to give accurate advice on pricing and presentation in order to attract the tenant best suited to their property. As the end of the stamp duty holiday nears, we are anticipating increased activity and high demand as landlords choose to let their property and benefit from long term capital growth. We recently let a stunning five bedroom Victorian house in Royal Road, which had the perfect blend of original and modern features and could easily be mistaken for a countryside manor in leafy London.’

If you would like an update on the market, or if you are considering selling or letting, please contact your local Snellers office where our team will be able to help.
